1. Make eating inconvenient : Using chopsticks instead of a fork is an idea but it isn’t practical
  2. Put on tight clothes before you eat: This will only lead to making you uncomfortable. This will only make you constantly aware of your weight which will only have a negative impact.
  3. Replace meals with shakes: This results in only a quick fix and can’t be sustained.
  4. Eat only one food: This can only result in an eating disorder in the long term. This will only cause you to experience hunger.
  5. Chew each bite dozens of times: This will help with your digestion but not with weight loss. What would help would be to eat more slowly which will make you conscious of becoming fuller more quickly.
  6. Cut out fat: There are some fats that are good for you so make sure you cut out the right fats. Monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats should be in your diet.
  7. Don’t ever indulge: If you never eat anything that you love chances are that when you are off your diet you will more of these items at larger portion sizes.
  8. Don’t eat carbs: You should talk to your doctor before you do this. A low-carb diet can put you at risk for kidney stones, osteoporosis, and even gout.
  9. Just cut calories: This is a complex practice for losing weight. The kinds of calories you cut out do matter. If you find out that you are not making progress don’t give up. Our bodies will react differently depending on what we do. Try some different foods to see how your body reacts. Sugar is definitely one type of calorie that should give you some good results if reduced carefully.
